Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Seoultokyo(the "Service"), available at https://seoultokyo.io and through our mobile apps. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

Seoultokyo aggregates and summarizes publicly available corporate disclosures (such as U.S. SEC EDGAR and Korea OpenDART filings) and presents readable indicators, watchlists, and alerts. The Service is provided for informational purposes only.

2. Not Investment, Financial, Legal, or Tax Advice

Seoultokyo is not a broker-dealer, investment adviser, or financial institution, and nothing on the Service constitutes investment, financial, legal, accounting, or tax advice, or a recommendation, offer, or solicitation to buy or sell any security or financial instrument.

  • All content is general information and may be incomplete, delayed, or inaccurate.
  • You are solely responsible for your own investment decisions and should consult a licensed professional.
  • Past performance and historical data do not guarantee future results.
  • Always verify information against the official primary filing before acting on it.

3. Eligibility and Accounts

  • You must be at least 14 years old (or the age of digital consent in your jurisdiction) to use the Service.
  • You are responsible for safeguarding your account, passkeys, and devices, and for all activity under your account.
  • Provide accurate information and keep it up to date. Notify us of any unauthorized use.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Scrape, crawl, or access the Service by automated means except as we expressly permit.
  • Resell, redistribute, or create derivative commercial datasets from the Service without permission.
  • Interfere with, overload, or attempt to bypass security, rate limits, or access controls.
  • Reverse engineer the Service or use it to violate any law or third-party right.

5. Subscriptions and Billing

  • Some features ("PRO") require a paid subscription billed through PayPal.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically each billing period until you cancel.
  • You can cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period.
  • Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable. Free-trial terms, if offered, are disclosed at signup.
  • Prices and features may change with prospective notice.

6. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, software, and original content, is owned by Seoultokyo and protected by law. Underlying filing data originates from public sources (e.g., SEC, OpenDART) and remains subject to those sources' terms. We grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive license to use the Service for your personal, non-commercial purposes.

7. Third-Party Data and Links

Filing data, prices, and related information are sourced from third parties and government systems. We do not guarantee their accuracy, completeness, or timeliness, and we are not responsible for third-party websites or services linked from the Service.

8. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that data will be accurate.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SEOULTOKYO WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR INVESTMENT LOSSES, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF (OR INABILITY TO USE) THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR (B) USD 100.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Seoultokyo harmless from claims arising out of your misuse of the Service or violation of these Terms.

11. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms or to protect the Service and its users.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes will be subject to the competent courts of Korea, unless mandatory consumer law provides otherwise.

13. Changes

We may update these Terms; material changes will be posted here with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use after changes means you accept them.

계정·이용

만 14세 이상만 이용할 수 있으며, 계정·패스키 보안은 이용자 책임입니다. 자동 수집·재배포·보안 우회는 금지됩니다.

구독·결제

PRO 기능은 PayPal로 결제되며 매 주기 자동 갱신됩니다. 언제든 해지할 수 있고, 해지는 현재 결제기간 종료 시 적용됩니다. 법령상 예외를 제외하고 환불되지 않습니다.

면책·책임 제한

서비스는 "있는 그대로" 제공되며 정확성·연속성을 보증하지 않습니다. 회사의 총 책임은 최근 12개월 결제액 또는 USD 100 중 큰 금액을 넘지 않습니다.
